Barbara is a professional make-up artist known for her unique approach to beauty, which combines art, fashion and psychological insights.
Viewing make-up as a tool to reflect the inner emotions and personality of the individual while enhancing physical beauty, Barbara was in fact initially drawn to studying psychology, but being an Artist at heart she soon realized the similarities with the make-up artist profession and when it became time to decide on her career path she chose the most creative one...luckily for us all!
Beyond her amazing technique Barbara always focuses on active listening and adapting to each Client's demands, knowing that the way you truly understand someone is just as important- if not more - than the techniques you use.
Teamwork is also very important to Barbara. She firmly believes that the success of each shooting is the result of a collective effort, involving make-up, hair, styling, lighting and the overall mood. She is always happy to discuss everything as a team and from there she creates her unique interpretation.
