Cristine Dupuys was born and educated in Trieste (North-East Italy) and starts her work experience in theatre, both in operas and in plays showing at prestigious Italian venues such as the La Fenice theatre in Venice, the Regio Theatre in Parma and during the Festival Pucciniano.
At 19 she starts to mix with the London fashion world, attending the special effects school “The Complexion London School” and taking part in photo shootings.
While temporarily back in Italy, Cristine is represented by an agency (Aldo Coppola) which introduces her to the circuit of top-level Italian fashion shows (Armani, Valentino, Trussardi, Versace and more) thus starting a career that will lead her to be appointed chief make-up artist by some of these designers.
Cristine maintains all her London contacts and starts working also in Paris and New York and in time she specializes in beauty shots (with her trademark painstaking care over details) and skincare shots. This way she arouses the interest of several cosmetics houses and starts steady collaborations as beauty trainer with companies such as Marcella Borghese (USA), Diego dalla Palma (Italy), The Body Shop (UK), Smashbox L.A. (USA) and Rodial (UK), performing her tasks both in Italian and in English.
Since 2009 she has been working in Milan, London and Paris for photo shootings, advertising campaigns, videos and fashion shows. In addition, Cristine often appears as guest make-up expert in Italian TV shows.
At technical level, Cristine’s favourite specialization is the optimization of the skin’s texture, adapting both colour and brightness to the photographic requirements, also with the help of airbrushes. As for creative research work on colour and materials matches, Cristine loves to draw her inspiration from Pop Art and from contemporary art in general to create her indisputably cutting-edge images.
